About UsRONNIET CREATIONS is a home based business at 55 Ness Lane, Kangaroo Ground, Victoria. I first learnt patchwork, embroidery and quilting in the summer of 2004 after a tragic hit and run in Warrandyte left me with an acquired brain injury (ABI), migraines 24 hours a day, neck and back injuries, the loss of my long and short term memory. My speech/cognitive and balance was the part that was mostly affected. The first project I did was a double size bed beginner's sample quilt. After the completion of this quilt I made a matching one identical in design. To this day I still attend various classes, building and honing in on my skills. In 2007, I decided to take control of the pieces of my life, with the passion and interest for patchwork that I developed, I started planning the creation of my own business. Others thought I would be limited because of the injuries and understanding. RONNIET CREATIONS opened its doors for business in February 2008, where I run classes and Sit and Sew days from the cottage for my clients and newcomers. I also carry a large range of all Patchwork, Embroidery and Quilting & sewing supplies - all available online, or "walk-in" from the Cottage. For information on classes, click on the Classes Link. View my products and previous work by browsing the website. Sit & sew days run on Wednesday afternoon 12.00-2.30pm and Friday mornings 9.30am-12 noon every week unless a public holiday falls on that day. |
